ahh. for those who are unfamiliar on what district 19 is. District 19 is very common use in Property business and it refers to Hougang, Punggol and Sengkang area. So today i am going to introduce you to 2 yummlicious food in District 19. hoho.

the first one is Lor Ah Soo Lor Mee. this lor mee stall actually situated at the Hainanese Market  right at the far end of level 2. you can see alot of news paper clips pasted on the glass panel of the stall. and is easily found with a super long Q lol. frankly speaking, i never really like lor mee cos of the starchy “herbal-smell” soup base. but for this, the soup base is just right – never too starchy and never too strong lol. 

another is their fatty meat. lol. not as fatty as those that i had previously..so consider this as a slightly more healthy version? keke

next, this is at upper serangoon road. same place as u find the famous alishan teo chew muy

but this time is another stall..Heng long teochew muy

there are alot of variety available for you to choose from. their sweet tapioca porridge is slightly more starchy than Alishans’. Alishan’s is more watery and thus less filling for us. the price is also reasonable.
